Boy did they knock this one out of the park, not only will their device charge just about every electronic device you could own but unlike other popular products it actually holds your stored power for up to 365 entire days!

They present the device appearance as a durable and elegant magnesium alloy shell wrapped around the most advanced and super strong hybrid charger ever made. I can’t question these claims as I said I think this product is fantastic, but I would think the newer models they should come out in multiple colors for the actual outer shell itself as I have a blue phone and digital camera and it would just fit better with the other electronics. Guess that’s nit pick but hey if I’m going to review the product What makes iGo so special is that the patented tip technology that enables anyone to easily power up literally thousands of different types and models of mobile devices with one single charger. iGo is a name you can trust, this company have sold millions of gadgets worldwide since opening shop in 1995.

iGo is always busy creating new gadgets for it’s customers, they currently offer universal chargers for electronic notebooks and mobile devices including mobile phones, Bluetooth units, iPhones or PDAs, iPods, portable gaming systems, digital cameras and always adding the most up to date models.

Some of the incredible features offered up are a gigantic capacity internal battery that actually stores accumulated power for up to an entire year plus the iGo tip attachment cuts waste and boosts compatibility. This cool product is rechargeable by sunlight or by using a USB power cable. You’re probably dying to know just how long you need to charge your device right. In most cases just one hour of sun will get you up to 15 minutes of conversation or your MP3 player will play around 40 minutes. The magnesium alloy outer shell is both durable and weather resistant it’s also remarkably light weight and easy to use.

As you are on our page it’s a safe bet that you are on the verge of getting your new charger it’s also a pretty good bet that you also have other electronic devices or toys that you need to charge so it only makes sense to purchase the iGo Magnesium Solar Device Charger and never have to go through buying another solar powered charger again. You can’t beat the price either, it’s so low that it compares to some other companies wired mp3 or phone chargers and the overall value is incredible. I can’t think of any other solar powered cell phone charger on the web that can come close to what this charger can do.

So how much is this going to cost me? The talk time or standby time (electrical energy) is the amount need to count to know the efficiency of the solar cell phone charger either it can be stand for the desirable period time or vice verse.

The major consideration of solar cell phone charger efficiency is based on the characteristic of solar panel and battery used. The solar panel is from semiconductor material that usually used on the computer and memory chips. The most commercial solar panel today makes screen printed poly-crystalline silicon solar cells and the most of used this material.

The reason of this poly-crystalline silicon used because of it can be made into excellent high efficiency solar cell and more light compare to typical silicon. In the easy words, this poly-crystalline silicon can absorb coupled of solar energy from the sun more than usual.

Beside the good characteristic of solar panel, the efficiency also increased by using the lithium ion battery. Lithium ion battery used mostly on the all mobile phone products today due to the ability of this battery can put the huge capacity of electricity energy and rechargeable by the sunlight.

The efficiency of solar cell phone charger also can stated as the quality of being efficient like a practical, ideal power supply, portable, convenient, durable and compatible device at the future. Moreover, it is the best way to support the green issue where is how beneficial the sun to the earth’s life.
<div

The battery is about 5 or 6 years old and has barley been used, but it has been sitting most of the time, not charging. When I charge it with a car battery charger (powered fro the AC outlet), it charges to 13.2v max (too low?) and only holds it above 12v for about 2 days. The panel I use to charge it puts out 15w at 1.2 amps, do you think that’s way to small of a solar panel to charge the battery effectively or is the battery bad?

<a

Though relatively few homes have them, thousands of magazine stories have been written over the past 30 years accompanied by photos depicting them. Because of their relative rarity, such systems have become regarded as ‘the wave of the future’, with that future always just out of reach. The sticking points are always solar energy panels cost and efficiency.

But there are dozens of cost-effective solar-panel applications available today.

Lawn lights are a popular example. They come in the form of stakes about a foot long with lights mounted on the stake. On the top of the light are small solar energy panels. They don’t generate much power, but not much is needed for them to do the job. They can be quickly placed anywhere since they require no wires. They can last for years without any maintenance since they use no batteries and the bulbs are ultra-long lasting.

Calculators that are purely solar powered have been in use for decades now. But that same technology has recently been expanded to encompass laptops. Though they don’t currently generate enough power to run a standard hard drive or monitor, solar power has been combined with new inventions to make that unnecessary. They use something called organic cells.

A standard solar cell uses layered wafers of silicon doped with phosphorus. But other elements and more complex molecules are also subject to the photoelectric effect. Many organic molecules will shoot off electrons when struck with light. They’re not currently as efficient, but they make up for it by being flexible and super cheap. They can be incorporated into certain inexpensive plastic alloys.

That makes it possible to make an affordable keyboard or monitor that can be folded or rolled-up. With this technology, it’s possible to roll up a computer like a newspaper and tuck it in your pocket. Then, it’s unrolled when you want to use it and powered by the available light.

There are yet many more applications that can be powered by a solar system. One common use is electrical fencing. Whether you need to power a dog retainer system or a cattle barrier, low voltage systems are often used to keep animals in check. A small stun doesn’t harm, but it’s often enough to keep them from wandering outside the perimeter. Many can jump over standard fencing, but electrifying the system discourages the attempt.

Powered boats, like cars, have batteries that start the engine and power small electrical devices when the motor is off. Running lights, speedometer and more. But those batteries need to be recharged after use. In the usual case, the running motor recharges the battery, putting back the power needed to start it.

But, clearly, the fact that battery chargers exist means that method doesn’t always work. However, when you’re out on the water, and in many cases even when you’re near the shore, it’s difficult or impossible to use a standard charger. Electrical outlets aren’t universal in docks and nowhere on the water. A solar-powered charger can come in handy just when you need it most.

That same charger can recharge the battery in your RV just as easily. But beyond that emergency use, a solar-powered system can be useful for an RV in lots of ways.

Many times an RV is stationary, with its motor off. Some have generators to power the RV at those times. But generators are noisy and consume gasoline or diesel, producing foul smelling fumes. Not exactly what you want when you’re outdoors enjoying the fresh air. A solar power system can supply at least part of the energy needed. It can run a radio, power a DVD and/or TV, or a small refrigerator.

Electricity generation isn’t the only possible application either. Water heating is a popular home-oriented application for solar power.

Small parabolic dishes can be used to focus the sun’s energy into a small area. That energy is then transmitted to a water storage system. Not all such systems are solely for inside the house either. The hot water supplied can be used to bathe the dogs outside or provide an alternative to washing the car with cold water.

In fact, any kind of washing chore is usually easier with warm water and water from the hose gets cold quickly. A solar heating system can provide a reservoir of warm water to wash the exterior of the windows, supply a sink in the garage and other uses around the house and garage.

Solar energy panels systems today are more efficient and lower cost than ever. They provide freedom from dependence on the utility companies for all your electrical and hot water needs. That makes them a good deal.
<div

Not really, but there are a large number of reliable and highly affordable solar powered mobile phone chargers. This means that anyone who needs to give their phone’s batteries a frequent “boost” can do so simply by placing the charger in a convenient pool of sunshine and then plugging their phone into it.

There are small units sized not much larger than the average phone, and then there are some excellent designs for those who also want to put a solar powered cell phone charger to use in other ways. For instance, many handheld GPS units can be easily plugged into a solar charger, and there are some companies who make small and flexible panels that can be stretched over a backpack and used to harvest solar energy for an array of devices.

Consider going on a backpacking or camping trip that will last for three or four days. No modern cell phone batteries will be able to endure this period of time without a recharge. This usually means that a mobile phone or a GPS become entirely useless after the second day of the trip, but with the use of a solar powered mobile phone charger the hiker could easily rely on their devices to get them safely through the experience.

Because there is currently such a wide array of cell phone manufacturers there are even some options in a “universal” solar powered charger. This device tends to have an assortment of exchangeable plugs that make it workable with almost any contemporary phone.

Does this mean that there are absolutely no cell phones available with built-in charging features? No, there are a few top of the line manufacturers already offering phones with such options. These tend to offer around ten minutes of talking time for every full hour of charging, but if the owner simply places the phone atop their work desk or along a sunny windowsill they may be able to avoid any sort of battery drop off throughout an entire day of use. Many of these designs are also environmentally friendly in other ways too. For example, one is made entirely from recycled bottles and has a walk vs. drive pedometer included in its design.

We live in a wonderful era for alternative energy supplies and anyone who is turned off by the cost and waste of cell phone and handheld device batteries may want to investigate their options for solar chargers.
<div
